CM Tools Oy provides its customers with production automation and designs, manufactures and maintains tools and offers machining services.
We base our operations on versatile expertise and service; designing, efficiency of production and profitability of operations. By managing these areas we are able to provide our customers with service that is the most efficient and competitive possible in the areas we operate.
CM Tool Oy’s history started with Ensto Oy, which was established in 1958. For a long time the company was a division of Ensto in charge of tool manufacturing. Ensto’s tool division was spun off into its own company in 1987 and in 2002 the company changed its name to CM Tools Oy. In 2004 the management and employees of the company purchased all of the shares of the company.
In 2015 CM Tools Oy purchased the Vaasa tool business of Fastems Oy and it was merged into CM Tools Oy. The unit originally belonged to ABB Oy and was responsible for its automation and tool manufacturing. The history of the Vaasa unit dates back to 1942.
In 2016 CM Toos Oy purchased the Lahti tool business of Fastems Oy and it was merged into CM Tools Oy. The unit originally belonged to Asko household appliance factory and was responsible for the manufacturing and maintenance of tools. The unit’s history dates back to 1941.
Today we employ about 70 industry professionals in three different localities.
